More About the commission...

The Public Service Commission is a board made up of three elected commissioners from three different districts.

The Central District is made up of 22 counties: Bolivar, Claiborne, Copiah, Hinds, Holmes, Humphreys, Issaquena, Jefferson, Kemper, Lauderdale, Leake, Madison, Neshoba, Newton, Noxubee, Rankin, Scott, Sharkey, Sunflower, Warren, Washington, and Yazoo.

If you are a registered voter in any of the counties mentioned above, I will be on your ballot.

The Commission's mission is to oversee the state's utility service and provide oversight of such companies as Entergy Mississippi, Mississippi Power Company, Spire Energy, Atmos Energy, and CenterPoint Energy.

The Commission has limited jurisdiction over electric cooperatives and telecommunications companies like AT&T, Verizon, CSpire, and Comcast.

If you have an issue with your utility company, let me know. I'll be glad to help get it resolved.
